Hey there, Shoebox Valentine! I hope that your January was full of rest and recovery from the holiday hustle. January brought a new buggy tarot card into the deck and a really wild read by Marcus Kwelier.
The new semester at my local community college started recently, and I am in that phase of life when I’m back in school, learning more about the topics I love. This term, I am taking a class called ‘Literature for Children’, and our big class project is writing and illustrating a children’s book and having it printed/self-published. I’m so excited!
Other exciting news is that the studio is working on a Valentine’s Day charitable/protest project (I’ll share more about that soon!), and we have officially started work on Good Neighbor, our local community-focused zine.
